Silvy De Bie was born on 4 January 1981 in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium - she is a vocalist for the Dance band Sylver. The band was formed in the Year 2000 as Liquid feat. Silvy and released in France and Belgium the single "Turn the Tide" and in the rest of Europe was the song released in 2001, the Sylver hit was in Germany with their debut album Chances, including the single "Turn the Tide". The single immediately moved to number 8 in the charts, and within 8 weeks was number 2 (under Atomic Kitten's Whole Again), staying in the top 10 for 12 weeks. A month later, the album debuted at 16 and spent 49 weeks in the top 100. The single Forever In Love also made the charts. The second album, Little Things (2003) was no less successful, with the singles "Livin' My Life" and "Why Worry". Sylver has toured not only in its homeland of Belgium and Germany, but also North America, South Africa, Asia, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe.
On November 2, 2004, the third album, Nighttime Calls, was released. The first single from this album, "Love is an Angel", hit the Belgian top 10 immediately upon its release on September 20. In addition to synthesizer and drum machine, Sylver uses guitar, piano, and percussion instruments. The album Crossroads was released in May 2006. The major track is Lay All Your Love On Me from ABBA.
Sylver's sixth album Sacrifice was released on 8 May 2009 in Belgium. The album peaked at number 3 in the Belgian album charts. The album earned the band the TMF award for "Best Domestic Album" in 2009.
Silvy began her musical career at age nine on the Belgian television series De Kinderacademie (The Children's Academy). Belgian law prohibiting children under 16 from working, however, put a sudden end to this career. Later, she returned with the band "Lance". In the Year 2000 she took the role of female vocalist for the Dance band Liquid feat., later in 2001 the band's name was changed into Sylver.
Alongside the successes with Sylver, she started also solo. In 2001 she works with MNC, with him she covered the Eurythmics song Sweet Dreams. She also worked with the Dance formation Milk Inc. (she is friends with Singer Linda Mertens). In 2004 the Track I Don't Care comes out, the single was in the Belgian top ten for a long time. In 2007 the Single Time alongside with 4 Clubbers in Belgium, She composed and wrote the song "The Lovesong" from the Crossroads album.
