Anne Vyalitsyna (Russian: Анна Вьялицына) was born March 19th, 1986 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. Also known simply as Anne V, she is a Russian fashion model. She is best recognized from her 5-year consecutive run in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Born in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, formerly known as Gorky, to parents that are both doctors; her father being a sports doctor for a soccer team and her mother being a pediatrician. She started her professional modeling career at the age of 15, after an IMG model scout discovered her in Saint Petersburg while looking for new faces for MTV's Fashionably Loud Europe. She entered the competition and ended up winning their modeling contest along with a contract with IMG Paris and later with IMG in New York City.

Within six months of winning the competition, she had appeared for Anna Molinari, Chloé and Sportmax and later walked the runway in shows with such well known designers as Alberta Ferretti, Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Calvin Klein, Christian Lacroix, Carolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, Emanuel Ungaro, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Helmut Lang, Hussein Chalayan, Issey Miyake, Julien McDonald, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, Moschino, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel and Versace, as well as campaigns with Anna Molinari, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Iceberg, Lancetti, Versus, Yohji Yamamoto, Zara and a new fragrance Chance.

Vyalitsyna, with her strawberry-blonde hair and green eyes, has been chosen as the face of Chanel's new fragrance, Chance. The star of the campaign, which was shot by the respected French art director Jean-Paul Goude, she will be seen on posters from April 4, with her arms wrapped around the scent's round glass bottle. From that list it is easy to see that her career as a model had what you might call "erupted". Since she has appeared on the covers of Vogue, ELLE, Glamour and Gloss, in the 2005, 2006, 2007,2008,and 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and she is featured in the music video for Out Is Through by Alanis Morissette. Vyalitsyna has also appeared in the music videos for "Misery" and "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" by Maroon 5.

In May 2012 it was announced that she will appear in the fifth installment of the Die Hard movie franchise A Good Day to Die Hard. The film is slated for release in 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney and Amaury Nolasco. She is also appearing in the film called Lullaby released in 2012. Vyalitsyna has worked with top photographers Steven Meisel, Terry Richardson, Patrick Demarchelier and Ellen von Unwerth, and others reknown in the world of fashion. She is now signed with One Model Management. Of her modeling career she says:

"I've wanted to be a model ever since I was little girl playing with my Barbie doll. It helped me for walking the catwalk that I can dance but everything else is self-taught."

In addition to working with the world class photographers that shoot the Sports Illustrated images, she was the subject of a Joanne Gair body painting work in the magazines 2005 edition. She also walked the runway in the 2008, 2010, and 2011 Victoria Secret fashion shows and was featured in the Dylan George & Co. and Abbot+Main clothing campaign with Kellan Lutz in 2011.
