Elisabeth Rodergas, better known as Beth, was born December 23, 1981 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and is a popular singer and actress in Spain. In 2003 she competed in the musical talent show Operación Triunfo. She finished third, but in a separate vote was selected by the audience to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003.
Beth, the Spanish representative at the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest held in Riga, Latvia achieved one of the best placings for Spain in this decade, ending up 9th with the song Dime. She is currently developing her career as theatre actress playing the role of Janet in Boeing, Boeing, a play written by Marc Camoletti and winner of two Tony Awards in 2008.
Beth, in her role, is one of the three stewardesses engaged to Bernard, a successful architect who has to keep his love game in secret. His romantic paradise works perfectly thanks to a favourable flight schedule, but all of a sudden everything changes when his friend Robert drops in for a visit. Written by the French author Marc Camoletti, it has been awarded two Tony Awards as the 'best revival' in 2008. The director Paco Mir is responsible for this adaptation.
