Verónica Romeo was born 18 July 1978 in Elche, Spain. She is a Spanish singer who rose to fame after appearing on the singing contest Operación Triunfo, in which she finished in 6th place. Among the songs she performed on the program were "You'd Better Stop", "Un-break My Heart" ("Regresa a mí") and "One Day I'll Fly Away". Having already sold more than 250,000 albums in Spain, Veronica Romeo has broadened her horizons and is now looking to seduce the American market. Since 2001, when she appeared on a TV show, she is getting fans worldwide and has multiplatinum sales and multiple awards.

In 2005 she moved to London, where she studied drama and took dancing lessons. She also improved her songwriting skills and wrote her 3rd album “Serotonina”. That year she founded her label VK 48 Music. In 2006 with her album “Serotonina” and her single “Conectado a mi” was awarded by MSN (Microsoft) a Platinum Award, as the most downloaded single in MSN history. Veronica is the winner of the “Golden Minute” in Spain where 15 million viewers tuned in to watch her.

She is deeply involved in every single aspect of the creation of her work, from singing all of her backing vocals to overseeing treatment of the instruments, as well as their recording until to the final mix. She moved to Miami first were she worked with Rodolfo Castillo (Santana, Bacilos, Chayanne, Julio Iglesias), Iker Gastaminza (Shakira, Chayanne, Ricky Martin, Bacilos), Dan Warner (Madonna, Rihanna, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Mika), Lee Levin (Shakira, Barbra Streisand, P!nk, Julio Iglesias) and she started co-writing and doing collaborations with Nina Ossof (Daughtry, High School Musical), Elsten Torres (Luis Fonsi, Julio Iglesias Jr), Jim Camacho (John Legend, Alicia Keys), John M Flacone (Shakira, Gloria Estefan). In January 2010 she moved to LA. Verónica is a voting member of NARAS and LARAS which presents the recording industry's most prestigious awards, the Grammy and Latin Grammy.

Since the program's end in 2001, she has released five albums: La Fuerza del Sol, Lluvia, El amor Brujo, Serotonina y EP Limited Edition.

The first single on her latest album was "Sería Imposible.'" Romeo composed the song herself, and the video is slated to be recorded live at one of her performances in Madrid. The second single is a song about MSN Messenger entitled "Conectado a Mi". The music video for this single features Antonio López, a soccer player with Atlético Madrid.
